X-Ray Roger Jimmy started out in South Bend as a college band. A couple years later, they moved to Bloomington while they finished college. They ended up with three albums: X-Ray Roger Jimmy (self-titled), Radiopaque, and Vanity. They went through a few line-up changes, and added a mix of covers and original songs.
