Here is a super rare cd from Oakland, California`s, "The Soulfulistics". This is the 1995 Ozone Records, 6 track single. Impossible to find. These songs were from the album "Meet The Soulfulistics".

Here`s a strange cd from a band called "Thick Richard" from Spokane, WA. The release is called "No World Order", which goes along with their style! One minute they are rapping, the next minute they are rocking, the next minute the are playing banjo. I`m not saying this is a bad thing, they do have some good tunes (in my opinion).
This is a strange, yet cool Rock/Rap or Funk cd. I am actually not sure what you would call this genre, but this is a cool cd. I have no information about this band, so if you, please leave me a comment. I would love to know more about them!
Mr. Clean was a funk / jazz band that dated all the way back to at least 1966. Headed by Ollie McClay, "Mr. Clean" has had a number of different members, but in 1992 at the time of this release, the band consisted of Ollie McClay, Johnny McClain, Albert (Terminator) Hobson, Jerome Biship, and Gordon Botler. At this time the band was based in Spokane, Washington. I am unable to find much information on "Mr. Clean", what I do know is that their music is pretty cool. They are kind of funk, kind of jazz.
Super rare cd from Portland, Oregon`s "Da Bone Tones". Self released in 1996. Drummer Michael Shain is the most known member of the band. Michael has recorded with guitar great Frank Gambale of Chick Corea and Jean Luc Ponty fame, and current King
of jam Band guitar players Jimmy Herring of Wide Spread Panic. He has
played live with Derrick trucks and Greg Allman, Dave Brubeck's "take
Five" drummer.
I don`t know much about Joe`s Friend, the only information I could find was an article from the SF Weekly. They seemed to have a different line up in the article, which was published in 1999.

Here is a super cool funk/soul/rock cd from Seattle`s own Phat Sidy Smokehouse. This was released in 2000 on Dig Records. Phat Sidy Smokehouse possesses an original sound that is a mixture of George Clinton, Jimi Hendrix, with a bit of Peter Tosh. These guys are a tight band, with funky, catchy songs. It features guest spots from Seattle rapper "E Dawg". This cd is impossible to find now.
In the 90's, Simple Ritual was one of the South Puget Sound`s hottest bands, but in 1998 life took the members down different musical paths. Members were, Eric Breding (vocals), Joey Bean (guitar) Ryan Bogney (drums) and Tom Byrnes (bass).
