This blog exists to reconnect people with music they thought they wouldn`t find again, or connect some with new music. That said, I try to make money. I try to hawk music. I run ads. I hope it doesn`t offend anyone. Music is #1. If I seem I`m putting no effort into posts, it`s because I have no info on it, and I want to post it, so someone can help. I want to be up front, Let me know what you think. Thanks

An awesome female-fronted rock band from Olympia Washington.
The band features Pam Webberley on vocals. The girl can sing! Bassist Bruce Whitcomb is a legendary producer/engineer adds a real spark to the band
Their song "Invisibke" got play on the Seattle rock station "KISW". Pam and Bruce also have another band called "Dugan Falls".
I will be posting Dugan Falls` cd "Fire" very soon, so check back in,
Here is a super cool rockin` cd from the band "Judgement" of Tacoma, Washington.
I hadn`t heard of the band until I picked this cd up from a friend but I love it!
Kinda heavy at times, and kinda AOR or Melodic at others. Check it out for yourself!
Released indie by the band, so a very limited number of these exist.

Super good rock from Olympia, Wa. They released this 10 track indie jewel in 1993, through their own "Broken Glass Records". This 2 man band consisting of Michael Koontz and Donald Hill.
This is a MUST HAVE for any AOR fan. Hell, any rock fan for that matter.
If you would like to buy it, it is for sale!

ULTRA RARE, tape only release from RYZ! RYZ formed in the early 90's by cousins Eric and Gary. They had 4 different vocalists throughout the bands existence, but came together perfectly with Chris Hawkey. Hawkey is amazing on vocals, as you can hear on this release. RYZ band packed the L.A. clubs and bars, with fans that were known to drink every drop of liquor in the bar. Their success grw to where they were opening for national acts about every 2 weeks. Their first big break was opening for Kansas, after that they went on to open for Yngwie Malmsteen, Salty Dog, Bang Tango, Rhinobucket, Little Ceaser (where we were played live on world famous KNAC radio), Lizzy Borden, and a shitload of lesser known bands. Due to their large following of fans, they started to draw the attention of major labels. That is when they decided to record this tape. They actually had the chance to open a show at Gorky Park, in the former U.S.S.R., they were pumped to do the show, but unfortunately some of the members were business owners, and couldn`t get away from work. Shortly after, Gary Hallett severed a tendon in his hand while working on a machine, this was what crushed the band. They had a meeting on the night it happened and decided to cancel all of their scheduled shows, Chris Hawkey decided to move on to a group that was willing to tour, and the band parted ways. They ended up replacing Chris and Eric, which worked well, but just wasn`t the same. The band finally called it quits. Leaving behind this gem!
CHECK IT OUT! DON`T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO GRAB THIS! ONCE IT`S GONE, IT`S GONE!

Here is a sweet little 3 track demo from the Minnesota jam band "Fat Rudy". It features the tracks "Tasty Tootsie", "Whiskey", and "Shaker". These tracks were to be released on their first full length cd, which was to be called "From A Bench".
Check out the samples below, and if you are
interested in owning it, just send me an offer via email!
Now called "Overspeedtrip" these guys started out as "Big Bad". This is their 1995 debut, they followed it up with "Livin` a BigBad Dream", and a couple of other cds as "Overspeedtrip". The name of those cds slip my mind at the moment. I personally like them better when they were "BigBad".
Check out the samples below, if you like it, buy it!

Here is a classic from Eric Engerbretson. He has been making music in the Pacific Northwest for years! This is a great tape. I know it was released earlier, but I am unsure of the original release date. This is the 1988 re-issue.
If you would like to own this tape, send me (Ken) an email, to insanelyraremusic@gmail.com

Here is a killer cd from the Silverdale, Washingtonband "Hand Of Sand"! These guys rock!
Here is some information from the bands Myspace page:
Hand of Sand formed from the ashes of the band Creatures of Havoc (Earlier version of Guttersnake). In the spring of 1992 at a Creatures reunion show, at RAAB Park, Joe met up with an old co-worker Missy. She introduced him to a singer she was working with, Kevin. A week or so later the three joined with Eric at Kevin’s Place. Within three weeks the band had written most of their first set, including Mica, Imagination, Look and Not dead Yet. The launch of the band was fast and in part due to those necklaces. They were just something people could hold on to and remember. Hand of Sand was known for thier fans as much as for their music. Whether at the Eastside Tavern (The Mannette), Schooners, The Colorbox. The Phoenix or on the Bus headed to another Seattle show, the band was never just those four. In early 1995, a full year after Ingrained was released, HOS split. The impression they left on many people was lasting. This site is here to remember all of those great times and to bring them closer to home. Here is to the people that went to show after show week after week.
Here is an awesome cd from "Sunset Red", out of . These guys have a cool "grunge" sound. I was, and still am a HUGE grunge fan. I wish I would have had this cd, or had known about these guys back then. If you are a fan of Pearl Jam, Mother Love Bone, or any of those good old grunge bands, you will love this!
Here is a killer hard rock cd from a great hard rockin` Seattle band. This was released in 1998 on Psyco Messiah Productions. Tydysky reminds me of other 80's hard rock bands from Seattle, like TKO, and Culprit. Singer Chris Complita sounds a lot like Glenn Danzig.
The band consisted of:
CHRIS COMPLITA on vox and drums
CARL COOPER on guitar
JOHN THOMAS on bass
Kickass indy rock from the Seattle band "Stickman Stepchild". I believe this is their only release. The band was actually from Missoula, Montana, but the guys went to school in Seattle, at the University of Washington. They dropped this indy gem back in 1994. The cd features 12 rockin` tracks.
The 2 man band consisted of members: Josh Cain, and Steve Milburn.
