VIRAGE - Changing Tides (1994 San Fancisco, CA)

Though I know little about this cd and band, I can say that I do like the music. Virage has a classic rock sound, and makes me compare them to Santana. This bay area band released this cd in 1994. It features 7 rockin` songs. I don`t believe the band lasted more than a few years before splitting, making this their only recording.

Tony Pacheco - Bass/Lead and Background vocals
Ted Andrews - Lead Guitar
John Filstrup - Rhythm Guitars/Background vocals
Mike Borden - Drums/Percussion
Dan Filstrup - Trumpet

BAD JUDGEMENT - High Performance EP (2001 Somis, CA)

Here is the 2001 "High Performance EP" from Somis, California "Bad Judgement". It features 7 nice tracks. Bad Judgement was started by Somis, California resident Pat Salisbury, when he was in junior high school. He continued the band throughout and past his High School years. The band, started out playing punk music, but their style evolved over time, until they ended with an Indie/Classic Rock sound. Bad Judgement finally called it quits in 2003. Pat now has a different band, I am not sure what happened to his former bandmates.

THE PLAINS - One Room (1995 Edmonds, WA) CLASSIC ROCK

Here`s one from the Edmonds, Washington band "The Plains". It was released in 1995 on Van Mar Music and it holds 10 tracks. To me they have a classic rock sound, but with so many different genres sometimes it`s hard for me to call it. I don`t know hardly anything about these guys, other than that they were produced by Mark Hibbert, who was in Pacific Northwest bands like, Axis Drive, Superband, Fat Chance and Merrilee Rush and The Turnabouts. MARSHALL COLTMAN - Peculiar Boogie (2002 Seattle, WA) CLASSIC ROCK

Here is a cool band with a great sound. The band is actually now called "Peculiar Boogie". In 2002 they were called "Marshall Coltman" which is a combination of two band members (Lisa Marshall and Rebekah Coltman) last names. As far as I know they are still making music under the band name "Peculiar Boogie". This cd was released in 2002 and holds 11 nice tracks. They have a cool classic rock sound.
