James Weldon - Drums
Mike Sebring - Bass
Mark Gagnier - Harp

ATLAS SHRUGGED - Ninth Annual World`s First (1995 Bellingham, WA) SECTION 43

photo scan0058_32265737260_o_zpsznvr1htj.jpg Formed in 1993, the Bellingham, Washington group "Atlas Shrugged", now known as "Section 43" released thi, their first album in 1995 and played the college music and club scene, with a power pop sound. They went to school at WWU, after which they moved to Seattle. From there I`m not sure what happened to them. Oh, by the way, they changed their name to Section 43 because the people who have the rights to Ayn Rand`s book "Atlas Shrugged" were going to sew them if they didn`t. The attorneys cited a law under Section 43, so they decided it would be best to change it, and did.

TWO GUYS - Recorded - 2003 Portland, OR. - CAMERON AND RYAN JONES -

photo 2 Guys_zps4hcwpg3z.jpg Brothers Cameron and Ryan Jones, make up "Two Guys". Cameron was in the bands Thingy and Pinback, and you can hear the influence of those bands on "Recorded". Cameron sounds a lot like Matthew Sweet. The vocals of Cameron Jones work well with the music. Their music is "poppy" and have been compared to the band Built to Spill. This was a great debut for the duo.

CXQ5 - Self Titled "DEMO" - 1995 Seattle, WA - TIM THOMAS - 29 LIVE

 photo scan0005.jpg
Here is the self titled "Demo" from CXQ5. This is INSANELY-RARE, it was self made by the band in 1995. They later went on and made a couple cds, but this is TAPE ONLY, NEVER PUT ON CD! You won`t find this one anywhere else! I remember hearing the song "CXQ5" on 107.7 KNDD back in 1995. They used to play it on "The Young And The Restless", which was a radio show that played local, up and coming acts. This is killer Power Pop! It features 3 great tracks, "Pioneer Original", "Falling From Grace", and "Tune Up".

DON`T MISS YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO OWN THIS!

KINGPIN HAYES - Quit Your Day Job - 2002 Seattle, WA - POWER POP - EMO

photo Kingpin Hayes_zpset7spdhm.jpg KPH is actually a Pullman, Washington band they formed while the members were in college, at Washington State University. They later left their growing fan base, and moved back to Seattle, where they built another following. KPH plays a cool mix of Emo and Power Pop. This is their second release, a follow up to their first, which was the "Spank" EP. The group later released a third EP titled "Dynomite Split", which was released in 2003. The band has since broken up.

THE CHEAP ONES - Leaving Lake City - 1996 Seattle, WA - ALT. ROCK

photo The Cheap Ones_zpszk6a8xay.jpg Here`s a killer cd from one of my favorite Seattle bands. It features 9 tracks, two of which feature guests. "Miss Manager" has backing vocals from "The Hitmakers", and "Dark As A Dungeon" has vocals from Christy McWilson, Seattle music royalty, who was part of the bands: The Picketts, Dynette Set, Young Fresh Fellows. The Cheap Ones have stayed busy, especially Clay Bartlett, who has played with a number of bands including The Supersuckers.

FIG DISH - Unleash The Cracken - 1991 Glenview, IL - POWER POP - ALT. ROCK - ULTRA RARE OOP

photo Fig Dish_zpsceltnhom.jpg VERY RARE,YOU WON`T FIND THIS ONE ANYWHERE!
Fig Dish released this years before most fans caught on to them. Fig Dish gained most of their following from their 1995 major label release "That's What Love Songs Often Do", which gave the world the hits "Seeds" and "Rollover, Please". Unleash the Cracken may show a softer, more mellow side of Fig Dish, but in my opinion, it`s still a pretty killer album. The songs on this album that sound more like the Fig Dish that most fans enjoy are "Birthday Clowns" and "Pretty Karen Record"

SO CHECK IT OUT, IF YOU LIKE IT, I GOT IT! YOU CAN BUY IT! If you are interested in buying this cd, just send me (Ken) an email, to insanelyraremusic@gmail.com

M-SET - Superheroes EP - 1999 Seattle, WA - ALT. ROCK - POWERPOP - RARE OOP

photo M Set 001_zpsoyqco1rc.jpg M-set was a quirky rock band from Seattle, WA. They remind me a lot of the Foo Fighters. I think the first time I heard them was on a battle of the bands on 107.7 The End. They played together for 7 years.  They released 2 EP`s and 1 full length albums. Their biggest record was "C.E.O.`s Killed The Radio Star"
