REVEREND - Play God (1991 Seattle, WA) GERMAN IMPORT - METAL CHURCH -

Reverend`s 1991 release "Play God". It`s their 3rd release. It has 11 rippin` songs. It is the German import version. They haven`t released an album since 2011, but they did release 3 full albums and 3 eps. Reverend started after David Wayne decided to leave Metal Church in the late '80's at that time, Heretic, whose singer left to replace Wayne in Metal Church, urged him to listen to their songs. Wayne met with Heretic at a Denny's restaurant where they played him some of their songs on tape. Wayne, impressed, decided they were the band for him, and the seed was planted for Reverend.

ABSU - The Sun Of Tiphareth (1995 Plano, TX) OG 1995 FRANCE RELEASE - BLACK METAL / THRASH

Here is the original 1995 French release, from the band formerly known as Dolmen, which evolved via Azathoth, Eternus and Necrotic into Absu in 1991. It holds 7 tracks of what I call "Black Metal, but Absu calls their music "Mythological Occult Metal". "Absu" in Sumerian mythology refers to a subterranean ocean. The band draws on Sumerian, Celtic and other ancient mythologies.

X AISLE - Exit The Wyrm (1999 Chicago, IL) THRASH - SCORPIO

Here is some great thrash/metal from the Chicago, Illinois band X-Aisle. This self-produced cd was released in 1999, on the band`s Grymss Music label. It has 14 tracks. The band released a later cd, called "Metaphor" which can be found online, but not this one!

WORLD FUNERAL - Suffer Life - "Demo" (1991 Seattle, WA) Thrash Metal

Here is a killer one, 1991 tape only release from Seattle thrash metal band "World Funeral". These guys could have been big, but never really got it together and were only known regionally.
Jim Tietsort now a youth minister, and Jim Payne is a Christian too, I`m not sure if they are making music anymore.

SEPARABLE SOUL - Psychdemense (1996 San Diego, CA) THRASH - ONLY 300 COPIES MADE!

Here is a badass thrash cd from San Diego`s "Separable Soul". These guys kick ass! This cd is extremely hard to find. I emailed back and forth with one of the band members a few years back, and he told me that they only pressed 300 copies. I lucked out and found about 10 of them, all brand new and sealed.

If you have seen one or two out there recently, don`t be fooled into thinking they are easy to find. The person probably got it from me. Other than my personal copy, I have one more. Don`t miss your chance to buy it!
