This blog exists to reconnect people with music they thought they wouldn`t find again, or connect some with new music. That said, I try to make money. I try to hawk music. I run ads. I hope it doesn`t offend anyone. Music is #1. If I seem I`m putting no effort into posts, it`s because I have no info on it, and I want to post it, so someone can help. I want to be up front, Let me know what you think. Thanks

NO WAY!
ReplyDeleteThis is my dad’s band!! My dad is Brian Moran, I am Ben, and I am currently 23 years old. This album came out when I was 6 and was honestly a staple to my adolescence. I remember going to all of their shows when I was just a youngin, and they rocked. I may be biased, but everyone around town loved to watch them perform and the radio stations played them all the time. I remember being in a local music shop and seeing their album on the shelves and thinking that my dad was a rock star. I really can’t emphasize how crazy it is to see this ANYWHERE on the internet. Being a music junkie myself and searching through the deepest crevasses of the internet to find awesome music, seeing this is more than a pleasant surprise. The Trouser Trouts actually still play, however the current members only consist of my dad and Kurt, as they took a hiatus from playing music for a while, for typical band reasons. Their music has since progressed, however they still have the Trouser Trouts vibe, only possessing a more raw sound and really pushing for a uniqueness that I have never heard with any other band. Don’t get me wrong though, On The Couch is a dope album! In fact, I still listen to it to this day and can get a drunken jam sesh out of my dad and Kurt every once in a while. If you would like to know any information about them let me know, and if you would like to hear any of their newer material I could most definitely get my hands on some.
Cheers!
Ben Moran
