I have so much music, I can`t listen to it all. Rarely, while ripping a cd, I hear some of it, and find myself a new favorite song or band. It makes me wonder how many killer bands and songs I pass up, w/out a listen. This is one of those that I accidentally heard and it kicks ass! My untrained ear hears Tool, during the Opiate/Undertow days.DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO ON THESE GUYS?

Yes... Most of the guys were originally from Ontario... They moved to Vancouver in 1991-ish and played with a few other bands they worked on projects with. Speed Buggy was usually the other act that played. With them, and they often did gigs at the Niagra Hotel. Andre (Bass) and Wes (vocals) put together the DIY album over the course a 4 or 5 recording sessions. Great sound, and that album was recorded 3 or 4 years before Tool hit the music scene.
ReplyDeleteBand moved from Ontario to Vancouver 1990ish? Most of the guys were from Ontario. Played @ cruel elephant/hungry eye/Niagra hotel/town pump. Some members went on to form a band called "the Liars". Saw them play with Mystery Machine once.
