Here is a super rare TAPE ONLY release from Daniel Amstutz`s church , Grace fellowship in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I believe it was released in 1986. It was only released on tape only. I'm not sure how many volumes they made, but this is the 4th. It features 24 tracks. This sewries is VERY hard to find.

Here is the Heritage Jazz edition of Lainie Kazan`s "Body & Soul".(It was originally released in 1995, but the Heritage version came a year later in 1996. Kazan is also an actress who has been in all kinds of movies and television, but let's focus on her music! She released a total of 8 full length albums between 1966 and 1988. This was her second to the last release. She is still acting, but hasn't released an album since 1988's "In The Groove"
Here is a rare Christian cd from Kendra. I don't know much about this one, other than it has 10 tracks, and was released by "Marshall Ministries" of Tacoma, Washington.
Here is the 1993 self titled debut of the Seattle indie rock band Partner. Killer female fronted indie rock that sounds a lot like the bands Saraya, Vixen, Witness etc. Great vocals from Dana Anton. They do a sweet cover of “Radar Love”, the Golden Earring mega-hit.
Here is a great TAPE ONLY release from Christian musician, Matt Audette. It was released in 1992 independently, and holds 13 beautiful tracks.
Here is a ultra rare 2006 self titled demo cd from Low Thin Square, a Seattle alternative rock band, known for intense shows, with an extremely powerful connection between the band and the crowd. In 2007 they recorded their debut album “Seven Two” at Bear Creek Studios in Woodinville, WA. Bear Creek is the same place where Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pretty Girls Make Graves and many others did. Local radio station 99.9 KISW helped release "Seventy-Two" which earned the attention of independent record labels and industry professionals. Unfortunately they played thier last show at El Corazon on August, 23rd 2008.
Here is a dope promo only mixtape featuring some of Seattle's dopest rappers. It was "released" in 2003 by Noc On Wood Records. It features 11 sick tracks from Pop, CaliG, Pyro-Maniak, Gator, Fo'Feva of Noc Rage, Arcturus, L.C. of Mad Ro, and the N.O.W. Family.

Anyway, here is a great cd ffrom The Hardings. Released in 1985 on Laurel Records, this gem features 12 great tracks. Although it was released in 1985, I believe that the songs were actually recorded during the 1970`s. The father of the family, Jim, started playing in the 1930's. He played radio stations in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He later formed "The Harding Family Band" in the 1970`s and they played all over the Pacific Northwest and Montana. The band was Jim, his wife Minnie, and son Harold.
Here is an awesome TAPE ONLY release from Hidden Menace. This band is basically one person (Randy Roland). It is a great power/thrash metal tape which others say sounds like Savage Grace, Griffin and Nasty Savages debut.
Heer is a super rare cd from the Phillippenes. Released in 1997, it features 12 awesome tracks. I don't know much about Roselle Nava, but I believe she is no longer with us. It sounds like she is missed by many fans. She went on to release a few more albums. She had a beautiful voice, and was very talented.
Here is an ultra rare rock cd from the Cleveland, Ohio band "The Slip", consisting of the duo Joe Lagani & Jeff Marginean. It is a 4 track EP from 1991. It was engineered by Andrew Funk.
Here is a super rare, lesser known but killer rock gem from the band "Divided Sky". The band was from Lynnwood, Washington. I think this was their debut album. I am not positive, but I think this was the only music they released. "Divided Sky" features 10 great tracks. 
Here is a rare TAPE ONLY release from the legendary Seattle AM radio talk show host, Dave Ross. It was released in 1995 and tracks. The tape is made up of topics of the day, focusing on Seattle. Topics include the Seattle Mariners, who made their one and only run at the World Series, O.J. Simpson, and Bill Gates.

Here is a super rare cd from "Stefani". I don't know much about her or this cd. It features 4 tracks,great vocals and production. It was released in 1996. Stefani is from the Dallas area. I am inunsure of any other releases from her.
Too Slim and the Taildraggers was formed in 1986 in Spokane, Washington. The band had five albums that made the top 10 of the Billboard Top Blues Albums, as well as tons of awards. The band is now located in Nashville, Tennessee. They released this one in 2002. It features 10 songs, including a sweet cover of Ledbetter's "In The Pines". They are still together, and released their last album "Blood Moon" in 2016.
Here is a rare one from Marge Starks, a great jazz pianist from Seattle, Washington. I am not sure of the exact year of it's release, but I know it was after 1992. It features 24 tracks. Marge was very involved in helping AIDS victims. All of the proceeds of this cd were given to AIDS charities. I am not sure if she still plays or not, and can only find one other release from her, titled "Live At Thimpers" (a notorious gay friendly bar in Seattle).
Mark Holt and Jam Packed were an awesome bluegrass and acoustic country band with a Christian influence. They toured the Pacific Northwest and got play on the regions most popular radio stations. The band formed in 1986, and offer something for everyone from classical traditional to imaginative contemporary songs set to exciting arrangements with soulful singing, rich lustrous harmonies and dazzling musicianship. I`m not sure exactly what year the released this one, I do know it was between 1986 and 1990. I believe it was released on tape only.
Here is one I have almost no information on. The band was from Spokane, Washington. This was released in 1995. I am pretty sure it was a tape only release. It features 8 tracks.
Here is the Goth metal band, Howling Syn`s "Black Moon" demo from 2000. It is VERY rare, and was a very limited mp3.com release. They are from Montreal Quebec, Canada. If you like metal with talk of vampires and medieval shit, you will dig this! It features 11 kick ass tracks. Howling Syn first started as a solo project by Patryk Pigeon in 1998 he added Sophie Lemay, and a couple more members over the next two years, until they released this. They made a another handful orf releases and the band is now on hold.
Here is the debut cd from Canadian "punk-funk" band "The Piemyn". The band got their name from Brian Toogood (of King Letus). The band opened shows for Bootsauce, Captain Tractor and the Philosopher Kings. They released this one in 1996 and I am not sure if they released anything else together. The members of this band were in many other side projects.
Here is an ultra rare TAPE ONLY release from Canada's "Back Alley John". I don't know a whole lot about this one, other than the fact that Back Alley John is an amazing blues artist.
Here is a super rare TAPE ONLY release from Tom Lillo. Tom is a songwriter/producer based in the Los Angeles area. I can't find any info on this release from 1989, and I am not sure if he released anything else until 1999 when he worked with producer David Miner, who had worked with Elvis Costello, T-Bone Burnett, and Pierce Pettis, to make the album Blue Eyed Mystic, released the album on his own label, Insurrection Records. Guest musicians on the album were country superstar, Dwight Yoakam, the legendary Frank Sinatra, and Jason Wade, of Lifehouse. He also released a solo album in 2013 called "Brand New Start".
Here is a band I happen to like a lot. On an Ebay listing the seller explained the band's sound like this; "IF ALICE IN CHAINS AND THE CULT HAD A BABY AND THEY ADDED KEYBOARDS AND BIG HARMONIES , THIS IS WHAT THEY WOULD SOUND LIKE".
I don't know much about the band, but I do know that I love their sound and am glad I have a second copy for myself. This was their debut release from 1994. I know the band wnt on to release another one in 1996 (I think) called "Hotti Bo Trotti". I am not sure if they have any other music out there other than that.
Now the lead man for the band "The Beat Project", and the Beatles cover band "Creme Tangerine", Byron Prather is a nationally recognized recording artist. In the late 90’s he toured for 2 years on the west coast and Canada to promote his album Everything So Right. When he's not rockin' he can be found managing one of the biggest Web sites on the net. I'm not sure if he still makes Christian music or not.
I'm not sure exactly what year he dropped this tape, but I know it is a tape only release and am pretty sure it is pretty limited in the number of copies that were pressed.

Here is a hilarious cd from Lex & Terry the morning show team from Dallas, Texas or Jacksonville, Florida depending on the year. Just like their radio show the boys don't take themselves too seriously on this cd. As you can see, their cd is alot like the show, crude and alot to do with, well...... "poon". If you are interested in this one, you know what you are getting!
Here is a super rare TAPE ONLY release from the Sheboygan, Wisconsin band "Absolute Zero". It is a must have for any metal fan. This was their demo, released in 1995. It featured 6 kick ass tracks.
Here is another mixtape from the "Louisianimal", Chucky Chase. It was released in 2012 on 2Faced/BBE. It features 11 tracks and a ton of guest spots. Guest artists include Lil Ceo, Mel985, Big Head, YV, Five One, and Tyree Neal. It is all hosted by Unk N.O..
Here is a dope mixtape from Chucky Chase the "Louisianimal". Released in 2013, Chucky teamed up with super producer DJ Michael 5000 Watts. Every track is produced by Watts, and out of the 17 tracks only one features a guest spot, that spot is made by Montana Kinkaid.
Here's an awesome TAPE ONLY release from The Kelley Sisters (Star, Daye, and Dawn) of Faith Music Missions in Evansville, Indiana. I'm not sure exactly what year it was released, but I'm thinking early 80`s. The tape consists of 10 beautiful tracks. Here is a TAPE ONLY release from Sandy Denham. I am not sure of the exact year of it's release, but it was probably somewhere between 1983 to 1989 and was distributed by DM Music. The cassette has 11 tracks and was produced and arranged by Terry Winch. Other than that I don't know anything about this one. Here is yet another Christian tape that I know little about. What I do know is that it is a TAPE ONLY release and I'm sure it is very hard to find. It was released in 1993 by Tetelestai Ministries of Bellevue, Washington. It features 11 songs and (in my opinion) it is pretty good music.
Here is the other Nick Walker tape that I had written about in the Nick Walker "Good Good News" post earlier. I believe this was his follow up to that one. This was released in 1987 on Small Gate Records and features 11 great songs. It is a TAPE ONLY release and is VERY hard to find. A must have for Christian music collectors. I have lots of Christian music, especially old tapes that were never released on cd. I know that I keep saying "I have tons of stuff coming" and it hasn't come, or at least not quickly enough. I hope you all can bear with me. I have severe depression and it keeps me from doing what I want or need to do. I apologize!
Second Wind is Mikey Les Taylor, Mike Allegri, and Ross Rutlege. They released this lesser known gem in 2000. 15 tracks of stripped down rock n roll. It's got a couple ballads, as well as a couple instrumentals. It was really refreshing to hear some straight ahead rock n roll, when the rock being released at that time was girly and lame.
Here is an awesome cd from El Jay Williams. It features 3 tracks ("If You Love Me", "Walk Away", and "Available To You"). I am not positive about the date of it`s release, but I want to say 2005. Here is a great Christian tape from Nick Walker. It was released in 1985 on Small Gate Records. I hope you all are ready, because soon I will be posting tons of tape only releases and tons of Christian ones. I know one of those cassettes will be another release from Nick Walker, but I don't remember the title. Keep an eye out for it. Anyway, back to the matter at hand. This 10 track album is great.
Here is a killer TAPE ONLY release from the Los Gatos, California band "Vim". It was released in 1994 on RDR Recordings and it features the four tracks "He Called", "Angel", "Noisy Neighbors", and "Lorilie". I love grunge, and I'm always trying to find grungy music that I somehow missed and it's pretty hard for me to find stuff since I have a GIANT collection and have almost everything that I know of. Anyway, the point is, if you are a grunge junkie or just a junkie period, you need this!
Here is a great demo tape from the Rockford, Illinois death metal band "Cannabyss". They are no longer a band and haven't been since sometime in the mid or late 90`s, which is sad because I think they were a killer band. Unfortunately this is the only recorded material that they released. At least they left us 3 songs to enjoy, they are "Stench", "The Collective",and "Bloodlust". Check out the artwork on this one, not the greatest artist in the world or anything, but it's still pretty sweet!
Here is a super rare TAPE ONLY release from "Skitso". I'm not sure exactly when this one was released, but I am thinking it was definitely early 90`s. It features 8 tracks and cool artwork! Here is a classic G-funk album from Kokane. Released in 1994 on Ruthless Records, a lot of folks think this was his first release, however, he released an album under the name "Who Am I?", before Funk Upon A Rhyme, so this is really his sophomore release. This cd is super tight, it features production from Cold 187um and guest spots from Above The Lay, The Liks, and Dirty Red. It also features a tight Death Row Records diss track!
Here is a classic Ruthless Records release from 1992. P.P.C. was made up of Playa Hamm and Tweed Cadillac and DJ Quik. They came together in 1991 and soon after signed a deal with Eazy-E's Ruthless Records. Unfortunately they only had a few releases. Before inking a deal with Ruthless they released a 12" of "They Don't Know", which ended up being a bonus cut on "Paid The Cost" which is their second release.They also had a track on the Trespass Soundtrack in 1993. P.P.C. reunited in 2001 and have made music together and solo.
Here is one of my favorites from the Bay! A classic from E.P.A.'s "Chunk". Released in 1994 on Murder One Records. It features 12 dope tracks, with guest spots from super producer Sean T, Caus, D Villain, Papoose, Mob Boss, Double O, Gangsta G, and Scrib. It also features one of my all time favorite songs, track #7, "187 Skills". It is a gritty hardcore song with a classic "g-funk" beat from Sean T". This cd is almost worth buying for that song alone. The whole album is sick!
