Here is a killer TAPE ONLY release from the B.C. band "Dead Crony". Self released in 1993 by the band. It features 3 badass tracks ("Inside The Killer`s Mind", "Screaming Righteousness", and "Sinners Lament"). Other than that I don`t have a whole lot of information about these guys. They have a myspace page and stuff, but it doesn`t provide a whole lot of info.

NEW HOPE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP - Hearts Aflame (1991 Hilo, HI) - WAYNE CORDEIRO

This is a great christian cassette. Released in 1991 by the New Hope Christian Fellowship`s band. The group was led by the church`s pastor, Wayne Cordeiro. Wayne was the lead singer, pastor of the church, and he has also written many great books over the years. I don`t believe this was ever released on anything but cassette. It features 13 electrifying songs.

This was Eric`s second CD, came out two years after he moved from Seattle to Austin and while he was performing and writing in both cities. Eric used members of both his Seattle band, and his Austin band for this cd. It is a great cd, you can feel the Seattle, and the Texas in the music.

DE PRESS - Groj Skrzypko Groj - 1994 Norway/Poland - ALT. ROCK - NEW WAVE

These guys were founded in 1980 in Oslo, Norway and later moved to Poland. I believe they are still active. They were one of Norway`s biggest New Wave band. They actually split up around 1982 and got back together in 1995.

I can`t find a whole lot of information on this cd, but what I do know is that "Destiny" was the Shoreline Community Church`s band. I`m not sure when this was released, I would think it was in the early 1990`s. It features 13 tracks of Christian music.

Seattle band "Hana Visits Prague", released this self titled debut in 1996. The band consisted of members: Umesh Madan (Vox, Guitar, Percussion), Jonathan Dubman (Vox, Bass, Keyboards, Percussion), Ives Chor (Bass), Lara Hamilton (Vox), and Dave Sanderman (Lead Guitar).

Another great cd from the Sedona, Arizona label "New World Music". Released in 1994, Medwyn Goodall used traditional South American instruments and rhythm to make this classic tribute to the medicine woman.

UCHPA - Qukman Muskiy - 2000 Lima, Peru - Blues - Rock

Uchpa is a great Peruvian rock/blues band. They sound a bit like Led Zeppelin to me at times. I don`t know a whole lot about them. I believe they are still together, and still doing shows that are exciting and energy filled.

SPONTANEOUS FUNK WHOREHOUSE - Quilpee - 1993 Tacoma, WA - ALIEN CRIME SYNDICATE

These guys were an awesome band from Tacoma Washington. They were fronted by Nabil Ayers, who later went on to play in "Alien Crime Syndicate". Nabil went on to own the music stores "Sonic Boom Records" and the Seattle record label "Collective Fruit".

POWAGA SISTERS - Little Grey`s Night - 1993 France/Belgium - Electronica / Synthpop

Here is one from Powaga Sisters, this was Isabelle Antena`s band from 1993 to 2004. They released 3 albums, including "Little Grey`s Night".

This cd features 10 great tracks, including the song "Cocaine" which was written by J.J. Cale.

YOSUKE YAMASHITA - Sakura - 1990 JAPAN - RARE JAZZ - PIANO

Here is a great cd from the legendary Japanese jazz pianist Yosuke Yamashita, and his partners Cecil McBee and Pheeroan Aklaff, who make up a killer trio. These three got together in the 80`s and formed the "New York Trio". This was in a lot of folks opinion`s their best work. Yosuke first played professionally in 1959.

TWO GUYS - Recorded - 2003 Portland, OR. - CAMERON AND RYAN JONES -

Brothers Cameron and Ryan Jones, make up "Two Guys". Cameron was in the bands Thingy and Pinback, and you can hear the influence of those bands on "Recorded". Cameron sounds a lot like Matthew Sweet. The vocals of Cameron Jones work well with the music. Their music is "poppy" and have been compared to the band Built to Spill. This was a great debut for the duo.
