Here`s one for the jazz fans out there. This cd is from Mike Rossana aka Paco. Mike is best known for his jazz ensemble "Paco and The Hookers". He is a great jazz guitarist from Washington State. EYE WITNESS - Line Up (1991 Anchorage, AK) AOR - ULTRA RARE

This was a lesser known, but badass cd from "Eye Witness" from Anchorage, Alaska. It was released in 1991 on Ice Productions, and featured 11 rockin` songs. I`m sure they didn`t press too many of these, I have never seen it anywhere else. I never found out much about the band, but they did have the cheesy hair, clothes, bandanas, and sound that all the collectors are looking for. I wish that punk bitch didn`t steal it from me. I hope he falls on it and the jewel case punctures his jugular.

HWP - Chances Are (1996 Salt Lake City, UT) ALT. ROCK - RARE

Other than the fact that HWP is from Utah, I don`t know shit about them! "Chances Are" was released in 1996, independently and features 10 great tracks. They kind of remind me of the band Live, or The Verve Pipe. That`s about all I know!

CRYSTAL CITY ROCKERS - Jump! (1983 Seattle, WA) CHRISTIAN - NEW WAVE - David Zaffiro

Here is a classic Christian / New Wave tape only release from the Crystal City Rockers. I am pretty sure it was released in 1983. As far as I know they only released 2 cassettes. The first one was self titled, then later came "Jump!". The Crystal City Rockers were a Seattle based band formed in 1981 playing power pop gospel music in cities, parks, churches, schools, youth groups and even a boxing ring.

Members were:
Craig Finley - Vocals/Bass
David Zaffiro - Vocals/Guitar
Rob Cochran - Vocals/Guitar
JT - Drums

SIMPLE RlTUAL - Backwash (1995 Olympia, WA) FUNK - RARE - ERIC BREDING

In the 90's, Simple Ritual was one of the South Puget Sound`s hottest bands, but in 1998 life took the members down different musical paths. Members were, Eric Breding (vocals), Joey Bean (guitar) Ryan Bogney (drums) and Tom Byrnes (bass).
This cd features an array of musical influences ranging from funk and rock to blues and jazz fusion.
These guys were in MANY other bands in the Olympia, Washington area throughout the years including Laguna!, Mojo Filta, Tubuku, The Pitz. They reformed a few years back, but I don`t think they ever recorded, they just played some local shows. Oly misses them!

SHALLOW WATER - Seven Years (1999 Bothell, WA) BLUESY CHRISTIAN ROCK - RARE!

Here is a cd from "Shallow Water" an EP called "Seven Years", it was released independently by the band in 1999. I don`t know much about the band, except that they were from the Seattle area, and were definitely a Christian band.

The band members were:
Sean Wolcott, Craig Curran, Kevin McLinton, Jeff Solvang, and Adam Behringer.

POTLUCK - Lunar Eclipse (1997 Seattle, WA) Hard Rock - RARE

Seattle rock band "Potluck" released this one in 1997 on Frozen Rose Records. I don`t know a whole lot about these guys. Though I do know that the drummer, Andy Rosenthal was in the bands Beluga, Electric Orchid, and Woody. The other members of Potluck were: Rick Rosario (Guitar/Vocals), Ozzie Rosario (Bass), and Blake Musselman on Keyboards/Vocals (also in the band PaddleWack).

So I have been doing this for a couple of months and I have no comments. I have sold 1 cd, which is good. What I am really hoping for is some comments about some of these bands. I would love to have more information, if you know anything please comment! Also, spread the word about this blog, I could really use more traffic! I be trying to add more music every day, but I work and go to school, I`m also a single dad. Obviously, I don`t have much time.

HOLLOW POINTT - The Truth Under Oath - 2004 Tacoma, WA - G FUNK RARE

Here`s a sick cd, from Tacoma, Washington rapper "Hollow Pointt" . It was released in 2004 on Twelve O Six Records. It features guest spots from Tangqurie, Gangsta Nutt, and BCU (I believe that is Bruthaz Comin` Up). Other than the strange Santa Clause gloves he is sporting on the cover, this is a super ill cd.
