BLACK ICE - Self Titled (1999 Norwood, MA) - ALT ROCK - GREG BURGESS - WOMBAT

photo Black Ice_zpsvkaywtcm.jpg Here is one from "Black Ice" an indie band from Norwood, Massachusetts.
Thanks to the comment from "Kellexfl", we know that Greg Burgess the lead vocalist is now in the Norwood band "Wombat".
Maybe it`s just me, but the singer seems to sound like Kurt Cobain. That isn`t a bad thing, by the way!

Band members were:
Greg Burgess - Vocals & Guitar
Pete Morrison - Guitars, Percussion, Organ
Pat O`brien - Drums

PETER WILL - Neuter Billy - Live Or Not! (1996 Bakersville, CA) RARE OOP

photo scan0005-3.jpg Here is a great cd from "Peter Will", the Bakersville, California cowpunk/rockabilly legend. This material is taken from live performances at "Suds Tavern" and "Fort Sort". Peter Williams died in August 2005. He was a powerful talent, with a powerful taste for drugs and alcohol to match. That is probably what killed him. He was one of those guys like Kurt Cobain, he wanted fame, but didn`t want fame. He did have regional fame in the Bakersville, CA rock/cowpunk scene.

His music is VERY hard to find. Don`t miss out! If you would like to buy this cd, send me (Ken) an email to insanelyraremusic@gmail.com and we will make you a great deal!

This is a super tight R&B cd with some slick G Funk style beats. D.L. Kiam is actually David Long, an R&B artist from Seattle, Washington. He released one other cd, a 2 track single called "1996" it had another track on it too but I forget the name. It was also super tight, and hard to find!

ABNEY PARK - Self Titled (1998 Seattle, WA) Steampunk - RARE OOP

photo Abney Park - Self Titled 2_zpssgteeoqc.jpgSORRY, THIS ITEM HAS BEEN SOLD, AND IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE!

Abney Park was formed by Robert Brown in 1997. They released this, their first full-length album Abney Park in 1998, it has become highly sought after and impossible to find! I was lucky enough to come across this cd, and a demo cd made by Abney Park called "Welcome To The Park" at the same time. You can see "Welcome To The Park" on this blog. I posted it too. Just use the search box to find it! Both cds are steampunk classics!
