THE FOUR LEFT POCKETS - Pocketful Of Memories (19?? Tilley, Alberta, Canada)

photo scan0137_zpsasz0vcm5.jpg Yet another tape, I know little about. The group is The Four Left Pockets, and the album is Pocketful of Memories. I am not sure of the release date on this one. I am thinking 1983 to 1989, but I don`t know. The Four Left Pockets were a Christian band from Tilley, Alberta, Canada. I do know that these guys used to do local shows with the Christian group "The Softones".

The Four Left Pockets were:
Lyle Gleddie
Trygve Gleddie
Robert Warrington
Norman Westor

If you have any information you could share about the band, and/or this tape, please leave a comment or email me!

JEFF FENHOLT - Testimony (19?? Upland, CA) BLACK SABBATH

photo scan0144_zpswazgqahz.jpg Ex-Black Sabbath member (disputed by some) Jeff Fenholt released his testimony on this TAPE ONLY gem, on Messiah Records. I am not sure exactly what year this came out. It is super rare, and hard to find. Jeff`s story is amazing, and inspiring. This is a must have for any Black Sabbath fan, as well as a must have for any Christian fan.

If you would like to buy this, send me an offer to insanelyraremusic@gmail.com

THE CONSPIRACY - Self Titled Demo (1993 Petaluma, CA) RARE DEMO TAPE

photo scan0132_zpslmhncubq.jpg Here`s a super rare demo from the band "The Conspiracy". It is their second demo tape and is impossible to find. It has 4 tracks "Conspiracy", "Amoeba Man", "Her Avenger", and "Fist Fulla Ninja". The Conspiracy formed in 1992 when founding members and friends Dave Young, Josh Staples, and Madrone Candea were just out of High School. Their first public performance was at their hometown of Petaluma's Phoenix Theatre with The Selecter from the UK. From then until 1998, through 37 members, numerous tours & many releases, they became one of Northern California's best and most popular ska bands.

BAND OF GOLD - Let`s Dance (1993 Montesano, WA)

photo scan0134_zpsskicbnej.jpg Yet another one in which I don`t know much about. Band Of Gold was a 5 piece group from Montesano, Washington. I don`t believe they wrote their own music, I believe they just covered classic material. "Let`s Dance" has 20 songs including "Crystal Chandeliers", "Sweet Georgia Brown", and more. I have another version of "Let`s Dance" that I will be posting soon. Right off the top of my head I think the songs are the same, but the artwork on that one is in black and white. I guess we will see soon.

Band of Gold was:
Dean Dillard - Tenor Sax/Alto Sax
Shirley Dillard - Bass Guitar
Ray Stelter - Rhythm Guitar/Accordian
Ginny Stetler - Piano/Clavinova
Bill Burke - Drums

Anyway, if you have any information on Band of Gold or this cassette, please leave a comment or drop me an email.

BOB McGRATH AND NANCY STRAND - Isn`t He Love (198? Seattle, WA) CHRISTIAN

photo scan0136_zps2lecnqpl.jpg I`m unsure of the year of release on this one, but I think early to late 80`s . It has 12 tracks, and was produced by Dan Foster. I believe it was a tape only release. Bob McGrath unfortunately passed away in 2007 of a sudden heart attack. He was a tenor, and Nancy Strand a soprano, together with pianist Joan Lundquist they did shows all over the Pacific Northwest. You may have heard Bob sing the National Anthem at Hawks, Sonics or Husky games, including the Rose Bowl. McGrath even sang with Seattle Opera and the Seattle Symphony, back in the 1960s and early 1970s. Bob partnered with Nancy Strand, for over 18 years.

REVEREND - Play God (1991 Seattle, WA) GERMAN IMPORT - METAL CHURCH -

photo scan0107_zps4zrqwl4r.jpgReverend`s 1991 release "Play God". It`s their 3rd release. It has 11 rippin` songs. It is the German import version. They haven`t released an album since 2011, but they did release 3 full albums and 3 eps. Reverend started after David Wayne decided to leave Metal Church in the late '80's at that time, Heretic, whose singer left to replace Wayne in Metal Church, urged him to listen to their songs. Wayne met with Heretic at a Denny's restaurant where they played him some of their songs on tape. Wayne, impressed, decided they were the band for him, and the seed was planted for Reverend.

MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (1992 GERMAN IMPORT) HE MAN - BILL CONTI

photo scan0108_zps1aqk4byc.jpg This cd brings back some memories for me. He Man, Star Wars, and GI Joe were all me and my buddies paid attention to, when we weren`t throwing rocks at cars (yes, I was a bad kid). Anyway, here is the 1992 German import edition of the Masters Of The Universe, official motion picture sound track. It has 16 tracks, composed by Bill Conti and The Graunke Orchestra of Munich.
