Self released in 1989 on cassette only. It features 10 Christian Gospel piano songs. I don`t know much if anything about Enoch, other than that I believe he is still active, and is from California. More specifically the El Toro area.

THE FOUR LEFT POCKETS - Pocketful Of Memories (19?? Tilley, Alberta, Canada)

Yet another tape, I know little about. The group is The Four Left Pockets, and the album is Pocketful of Memories. I am not sure of the release date on this one. I am thinking 1983 to 1989, but I don`t know. The Four Left Pockets were a Christian band from Tilley, Alberta, Canada. I do know that these guys used to do local shows with the Christian group "The Softones".

BOB McGRATH AND NANCY STRAND - Isn`t He Love (198? Seattle, WA) CHRISTIAN

I`m unsure of the year of release on this one, but I think early to late 80`s . It has 12 tracks, and was produced by Dan Foster. I believe it was a tape only release. Bob McGrath unfortunately passed away in 2007 of a sudden heart attack. He was a tenor, and Nancy Strand a soprano, together with pianist Joan Lundquist they did shows all over the Pacific Northwest. You may have heard Bob sing the National Anthem at Hawks, Sonics or Husky games, including the Rose Bowl. McGrath even sang with Seattle Opera and the Seattle Symphony, back in the 1960s and early 1970s. Bob partnered with Nancy Strand, for over 18 years.

DOUG & CANDY - bY Special Request (1988 Spokane, WA) DOUG & CANDY GINTZ

Here is a very rare TAPE ONLY Christian gospel gem. Doug and Candy Gintz`s "By Special Request" from Spokane, Washington. They self released this TAPE ONLY in 1988. It has 11 great songs. I don`t know a whole lot about these guys, other than that they played the Spokane area alot back in the late 1980`s and early 1990`s.

LARRY BROWN AND THE REVELATION - Revealing Jesus To You (198? Issaquah, WA) HEAVENBOUND - KING`S ENVOY QUARTET

Another great tape from Redeemed Records of Issaquah, Washington. I am not sure what year this was released, but I kind of think it was before 1983. 10 great songs from Larry Brown and the Revelation. Looking closer at the artwork I am sure this is the same people who were in the Redeemed Records group "Heavenbound", which I have blog posts about already. I believe that The Revelation became Heavenbound in about 1983 or so. It`s safe to say that this band is also made up of Larry and Joy Brown, and Ernie and Melba Schaer. The Schaer`s and Larry Brown were also in the Portland, Oregon group "The King`s Envoy" in the 1970`s.

KIRSTEN COPE - Movin` On Up (1995 Tacoma, WA) CHRISTIAN - LIFE CENTER

Yet another tape that I don`t know much about. Kiraten Cope`s "Movin` On Up". I believe this to be a TAPE ONLY release from 1995. I believe this was recorded at the "Life Center" church in Tacoma, Washington. It features 12 tracks, and beautiful vocals.

HEAVENBOUND - God Of Love (1985 Issaquah, WA) KING`S ENVOY QUARTET

This is a great Christian gospel album. It features 3 members of the Portland, Oregon Christian group "King`s Envoy Quartet" (Larry Brown, Ernie Schaer, and Melba Schaer), and also Larry Brown`s wife Joy Schaer Brown. I believe this was released on TAPE ONLY, in 1985 on Redeemed Records. It consists of 10 awesome tracks.

Here is some great Christian music, from Misty Dawn, of Miltonvale, Kaansas. This was released by Mist in 1991, it was TAPE ONLY and it consists of 10 well done tracks. I don`t know much about Misty, so I`m not even sure if she ever put any other music out. She was in college, when she made this. I know she did a bunch of local shows, but I am not sure how far out her music, or music career traveled.

THE NASHVILLE NORTH PROJECT 1 - Compilation (1991 Calgary, Alberta, Canada) Hiedi Munro - COUNTRY - GOSPEL

The Nashville North Project was a compilation of Canadian country/gospel artists, showing off some upcoming talent. I think they planned on releasing more volumes, but I believe this one was the only one made. It was released in 1991 and has 12 tracks, with songs from Brett Barrow, Deborah Lauren & Ian Eaton, Denis Grady, Marty Antonini, Dawn Hanson, Ivan Stover, Steve Bell, Russ Hale, Susan Tanna, Rocky McLoed, and Noreen Middleton.

Here`s one from the husband and wife team Rick And Gwen Shorter. They are Seventh Day Adventists and have made a bunch of music over the years. I`m not sure what year this was released, but I do see that they have an email address, so it`s gotta be mid nineties or later. It features 10 tracks of spiritual music.

I am not sure what year it was put out in, but I know it was 1990 or later, because "Trinity Heirs" didn`t even form their band until 1990. The cd features 11 songs from artists like, The Singing Cookes, Terry Terrell, Trinity Heirs, Lee Smith Singers, and more!

THE BIOLA HOUR SINGERS - Special Edition (1988 Santa Ana, CA) BIOLA UNIVERSITY

Here is another Christian cassette. I believe this is from the old radio show, and now podcast that Biola University puts on. It was released in 1989 on TAPE ONLY and features 6 "medleys" of songs, and 4 songs.

Some of the artists that worked on this were, Dorothy McPherson, Ron Soderwall, David Hocking, plus others.

Here is a tape only release from the brothers Rick and Mick Vigneulle. They run a ministry out of Birmingham, Alabama. This was released sometime in the 80`s, though I am not sure which year exactly. It features 10 tracks. As far as I know they are still active, but I don`t think they release any music nowdays.

PATSY GIBBONS - Sings... (1989 Sumner, WA) - Christian

Here`s one rom Patsy GibbonS. It was self released in 1989 and features 4 tracks total. I don`t know much about this one, or about Patsy Gibbons, except that she was from Sumner, Washington. songs 1 and 3 are both "Ordinary Baby", songs 2 and 4 are "Sweet Little Jesus Boy". Track 2 is the regular version or "Sweet Little Jesus Boy", while track 4 is a vocals only version of the song.

MARK HOLT & JAM PACKED - Breaking Ground (19?? Redmond, WA) COUNTRY GOSPEL - BLUEGRASS

Mark Holt and Jam Packed were an awesome bluegrass and acoustic country band with a Christian influence. They toured the Pacific Northwest and got play on the regions most popular radio stations. The band formed in 1986, and offer something for everyone from classical traditional to imaginative contemporary songs set to exciting arrangements with soulful singing, rich lustrous harmonies and dazzling musicianship. I`m not sure exactly what year the released this one, I do know it was between 1986 and 1990. I believe it was released on tape only.

BYRON PRATHER - Self Titled (199? Seattle, WA) RARE - TAPE ONLY - CHRISTIAN

Now the lead man for the band "The Beat Project", and the Beatles cover band "Creme Tangerine", Byron Prather is a nationally recognized recording artist. In the late 90’s he toured for 2 years on the west coast and Canada to promote his album Everything So Right. When he's not rockin' he can be found managing one of the biggest Web sites on the net. I'm not sure if he still makes Christian music or not. I'm not sure exactly what year he dropped this tape, but I know it is a tape only release and am pretty sure it is pretty limited in the number of copies that were pressed.

THE TEXANS - Blood Kin (198? Branson, MO) RARE - TAPE ONLY - COUNTRY/GOSPEL CHRISTIAN

Here is my second post from "The Texans". Like I stated in the previous post, the band began in 1971 as The Masters' Four; a full time traveling quartet. In 1983, they moved to Branson, MO and became known as The Texans. The artwork shows a Branson, Mo. address for the band, so this must be from 1983 or later, but I'm not sure exactly when. Since the catalog # for this release is MOTEX 9611 and the last tape from them I posted was # MOTEX 9612, I assume this is older than the tape in the last post. I also know that this was a TAPE ONLY release and never made it to cd. They are still performing today, although the line-up is different and many members have come and gone over the years. They have done shows with Christian heavyweights including Cecil Todd, TD Jakes, Jesse Duplantis, Jerry Falwell, Tim Lahaye, and many more.
