RATBITE - Two Teeth / RATBITE - Ratbite It, You Scum (2013 UKRAINE/USA) SPLIT CD - 2 DIF. PUNK BANDS

Here`s a pretty cool split cd from two different bands called Ratbite. One band is from the U.S.A. and the other is from the Ukraine. Apparently they heard about each other and thought it would be cool to do thgis split album, and it is pretty cool, right? Both bands have a 90`s punk feel to them on this one, with a hint of thrash in there. The American Ratbite seem to be more technical and more fine tuned on their instruments. But the vocals from the Ukrainian boys were louder, screamier, and better. Either band on this one is good though, you can`t lose here!

SQUELCH - Comprende (1997 Renton, WA) PUNK

Here is a great cd from the Renton, Washington punk band "Squelch". It was released in 1997 on mf Records. The cd has 14 awesome tracks. I don`t know too much about these guys, but I do know that at one time I had another one of their cds, but I`m not sure what happened to it. For a second I thought I had it listed on the blog already, but I realized that the listing (from Nov. 9th, 2011) was from a different band with the same name. If anyone has any information about these guys please leave me a comment or send me an email.

ABIDENT - How Was Your Day? (2002 Covington, WA) PUNK ROCK

Here`s a great punk cd from the Covington, WA (basically part of Kent, WA) punk rock band "Abident". They released it with help from "Independent Records". It features 8 rockin` tracks. Unfortunately, I believe this was the one and only album the band recorded.
The three piece band consisted of:
Andrew Inaba (Bass/Vocals)
Chris Steenerson (Guitar)
Matt (Drums)

STRESS - This Ain`t No Time To Be Doubtful - 1990 San Mateo, CA - "TYPE A" VERY RARE DEMO

Here is a crazy tape! It is the demo by the band "Stress", BUT this one has a different tracklist, AND the bands name is taped over on the artwork, with the name "Type A". I am assuming the band changed their name. The demo under the name "Stress" has the songs "Vibin`" and "Fuck Authority", but on this demo, those songs were replaced by "Barfly", and "Stress Reduction".

The original demo is hard enough to find! This is crazy rare!

SUCKERPUNCH - Manchowder - 1994 Tumwater, WA - PUNK ROCK

Here is a very hard to find cd from a lesser known, but killer band from Tumwater, WA. The same place where Olympia Beer is made.
It was released in 1994 independently by the band. It features 11 sweet songs, and one of them stands out to me. Song number 1, any song that bashes the law is a winner in my book.

SCRIBBLE - Genericpissedoffsundayafternoonsixpack - 1995 Tacoma, WA - Instant Records

Scribble was a great band, from T-town Washington. As far as I know they never released any other material. They have a pretty original/unique sound, they somewhat remind me of Afghan Whigs. The cd features six songs, and when they end it leaves you wishing they would have made more! Fortunately, I can just listen to it again. It`s one of those albums that almost never gets old. Song #6 "Shut Up Hooker" is my personal favorite. It features a badass bassline, as well as killer drum work.

THE CYNIX - Demo Tape - 1997 Chicago, IL - ULTRA RARE - PUNK - AARON CYNIC - STILL HAS ORIGINAL STICKERS!

Released in 1997, this is a killer demo tape from the Chicago based punk band "The Cynix", fronted by Aaron Cynic. The band had a nice local following, I believe this 4 song demo tape was the only material that the band recorded. The band didn`t last long, they split up, and the guys went on to play parts in all kinds of Chi-Town punk bands.
