Here is one from Japan`s `80s pop rock band "Rebecca". "Olive" was released in 1988 on Fitzbeat/CBS Records. It has 10 tracks. Rebecca was fronted by singer, Nokko. They were the first Japanese rock band to sell a million records, and are considered the first commercially successful rock band in Japan.
Here`s a killer cd from one of my favorite Seattle bands. It features 9 tracks, two of which feature guests. "Miss Manager" has backing vocals from "The Hitmakers", and "Dark As A Dungeon" has vocals from Christy McWilson, Seattle music royalty, who was part of the bands: The Picketts, Dynette Set, Young Fresh Fellows. The Cheap Ones have stayed busy, especially Clay Bartlett, who has played with a number of bands including The Supersuckers.
Now known as "Darling Thieves", I Hate Kate was fronted by Zebrahead singer Justin Mauriello. The band was forced to change their name when one of Justin`s ex-girlfriends "Kate" left an angry voicemail on his phone in 2010, claiming she would sue the band for using her name.
