GULLY JUMPERS - Peas+ Corn! (2000 Seattle, WA) ZEKE - BAD LIVERS

photo scan0101_zpsqosminoz.jpg Gully Jumpers was a bluegrass side-project of Mark Pierce (formerly of Seattle punk band Zeke) and John Von Feldt (formerly of California rock band Thin White Rope) and the Bad Livers' Danny Barnes. They released this cd in 2000 and from what I read online NO ONE has it.

But, I do.

MARK HOLT & JAM PACKED - Breaking Ground (19?? Redmond, WA) COUNTRY GOSPEL - BLUEGRASS

Mark Holt and Jam Packed were an awesome bluegrass and acoustic country band with a Christian influence. They toured the Pacific Northwest and got play on the regions most popular radio stations. The band formed in 1986, and offer something for everyone from classical traditional to imaginative contemporary songs set to exciting arrangements with soulful singing, rich lustrous harmonies and dazzling musicianship. I`m not sure exactly what year the released this one, I do know it was between 1986 and 1990. I believe it was released on tape only.

THE JIM FINNERAN BAND - Presents Country Classics (19?? Seattle, WA) Country - Bluegrass

photo Jim Finneran Band_zpsojnex7di.jpg I am unsure of the year that this one was released, but I am guessing early to mid eighties. It features 9 great covers of classics! Jim Finneran and his band were a great little country cover band. They played shows all over the northwest, many times with Jim using his computer to play four instruments at once. The group did country and bluegrass, and were a good draw at local music festivals.

If you would like to own this rare one, send me (Ken) an email to insanelyraremusic@gmail.com and I will set you up with a great price!

They released at least 8 more albums, but I don`t believe they have put anything out since 2009, and I am not sure if they are still together.

REDWING - Do You Ever Think Of Me - 1991 Kenova, WV - ORIG. 1991 RELEASE

photo REDWING.jpg Here is a classic bluegrass cd from Redwing. They were a killer bluegrass band. They released this on Pinecastle Records in 1991. It was later re-released, but this is the original 1991 release. The highlight of this band is the father/son team of Jerry and Kevin Williamson.

Don`t miss out on your chance to miss this one.

"THE CAPITOL HILLBILLIES" "CAPITOL HILLBILLIES HOLIDAY 1998 LIMITED EDITION" - Stephanie Watson - 1998 Seattle, WA

photo Cap Hill 2_zpsewwbupfb.jpg photo Cap Hill 1_zpsiz7t9vql.jpg
Here are 2 cds that I know very little about, but I believe them to basically be the "soundtrack" to a play called "The Capitol Hillbillies", probably about a redneck family that move out West here to Seattle, and get to suffer a bit of culture shock. The band plays some great country western, and bluegrass music.

The members of the band were:
Steve Freeborn - Drums
Ethan Lind - Banjo/Vocals
Keith Loux - Guitar
Tim O`Neill - Bass
Jeff Robbins - Mandolin
Stephanie Watson - Guitar/Vocals

DON`T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN BOTH OF THESE! OR JUST ONE, YOU MAKE THE OFFER!

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN OWNING EITHER OR BOTH OF THESE CDS, EMAIL ME (KEN) AT insanelyraremusic@gmail.com !
