It has 7 tracks including a stunning cover of Rosemary Clooney's "C'mon A My House", Nat King Cole`s "Nature Boy", a great rendition of The Doors song "Light My Fire", as well as 4 other tunes ("Everynight", "I`d Be Surprisingly Good For You", "Alright, Okay, You Win", and "I Love The Way You`re Breaking My Heart") all of which are done with her seductively gorgeous voice.

Here is the Heritage Jazz edition of Lainie Kazan`s "Body & Soul".(It was originally released in 1995, but the Heritage version came a year later in 1996. Kazan is also an actress who has been in all kinds of movies and television, but let's focus on her music! She released a total of 8 full length albums between 1966 and 1988. This was her second to the last release. She is still acting, but hasn't released an album since 1988's "In The Groove"

Joe has done it all, from jazz vocals, like the songs on Third Accession, to fronting the Ontario metal band "Whiteheet" back in the late 70`s.

TILLIE - Give Me The Night - 1996 Seattle, WA - R&B - TILLIE HAIRSTON SAGER

Here is a great cd from Seattle`s own "Tillie" aka Janelle Hairston (now Janelle Hairston-Sager). It was self released in 1996 by Tillie. The album features production from Kenny "LaMar" McGowan, and beautiful vocals from Tillie, who covers Valerie Taylor`s "Why" as well as The Doobie Brothers "What A Fool Believes" (one 0f my all time favorite songs), while providing 12 tracks of her own written material. I believe the Hairston name caries some weight when it comes to Seattle music. I want to say that a member or members of the Hairston family, was/is a heavyweight in the Seattle rap/hip hop music scene.

A MUST HAVE FOR ANY SEATTLE RAP/R&B FAN!
