This blog exists to reconnect people with music they thought they wouldn`t find again, or connect some with new music. That said, I try to make money. I try to hawk music. I run ads. I hope it doesn`t offend anyone. Music is #1. If I seem I`m putting no effort into posts, it`s because I have no info on it, and I want to post it, so someone can help. I want to be up front, Let me know what you think. Thanks
I don`t know much about "Cal Reid", I know that he lived in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and he passed away in 2004. I`m not positive, but I believe this cd to be a country music cd.
Cool little single, I believe it to be a promo, although it doesn`t say that anywhere on the disc or artwork.
Here is a cool promo cd from "Jerome", who was a member of P Diddy`s, Bad Boy Records.
Here is a great cd from "Black 74". I`m not sure of the date on this one. I have NEVER seen this cd anywhere else. The vocalist, Tsai Turner is or was in the band "Lazarus Rise".
Here is an awesome cd from Seattle`s "Lost Image", they were lesser known but were a GREAT band! Don`t sleep on this one! These guys were killer!
Here is an awesome acoustic jazz cd from "Catwalk". The band features world famous jazz/blues guitarist John Miller and his friends Paul Elliot on the violin and Tom Moran on the Mandolin.
Super good rock from Olympia, Wa. They released this 10 track indie jewel in 1993, through their own "Broken Glass Records". This 2 man band consisting of Michael Koontz and Donald Hill.
Here is a self made "demo" from Lakewood, Washington`s Jeannie Kramer. 3 nice pop tracks, great vocals. Jeannie is still playing local shows.
If you are a fan of Incubus, Rage Against The Machine, Deftones, etc., you will probably love this one. Released by the band itself in 1999, it is a nu metal classic (in my opinion). Don`t get them confused by the San Diego or Toronto bands, who carry the same name. These guys made a buzz in the NW, but kinda faded out. I don`t believe they ever made another cd, this one was a cd-r with the inserts on decent paper printed by a home printer. I don`t know the exact number of them that were made, but it can`t be many.
Here`s a super rare bass gem from the Islands. This is IMPOSSIBLE to find. Kutmaster Spaz is a DJ/Entertainer from Hawaii. He has been around FOREVER. I`m not sure of the exact year when this one was "released", but I`m thinking 1996. I say "released" because this was obviously self produced, he couldn`t have made many of them. It features Spaz`s mixes of songs by, D.J. Laz , JJ Fad , Planet Rock , Stylz & The Jizz , 2 Live Crew , Bone Thugs , Afrorican , and many more. 25 tracks altogether!
