DANIEL KANE - On The Street Where You Live (1992 San Francisco, CA)

photo scan0095_zpso5ryzhwj.jpg Daniel Kane was a street musician in San Francisco, he played his Chapman Stick instrument down by the Fisherman`s Wharf. He sold this cd there too. If you read reviews all over the internet, you will see that people rave about his music, and love it. He released this 9 track jazz gem in 1992.

I think this was re-released years later, but the original version, like this is hard to find.

SLOTH - 22 (1997 Rancho Cucamonga, CA)

photo scan0092_zps1c8czafw.jpg Sloth was a California band, they formed in 1995 and made a few demos, then they recorded this one in 1997. It is produced by John Avila of Oingo Boingo. This album caught on and was a hot item at the underground trading post. The band decided to enter this cd in a nationwide contest sponsored by Guitar Center, Musicians Institute and Disc Makers and they won, beating several thousand competitors. They have since made at least 2 more albums. I`m not sure if they are still together.

I`m not sure what year this was released, but I do see that they have an email address, so it`s gotta be mid nineties or later. It features 10 tracks of spiritual music.
